is the day. Guy and Eliza have been
working madly for many months now in preparation for the opening of their
on-farm butchery, smokehouse, events centre and restaurant in Penguin. Their speciality is rare-breed Wessex
Saddleback pigs, but they also do heritage breeds of cattle, sheep, chickens
and ducks. There will be major
festivities on site tomorrow – something for every member of the family to enjoy. I was up there earlier in the week with a group
doing a food, wine and farm tour and the farm is looking fabulous. I’m sure their open day to show off the new
facilities will be a great event.
