and Veronica have been growing olives for 13 years now and are the only grower
in Tasmania doing table olives as well as EVOO.
They also have a wonderful range of infused dipping oils and make their
own dukkah. Just to spread the wonderful
flavour around the place, Tasmanian Truffles (who started value adding their
product this year with truffle oil, mustard, honey and salt) are using Wattle
Hill olive oil as the base for their truffle oil. Both have truly amazing product and combined,
well a marriage made in heaven – great Tassie oil complimenting Tassie grown
truffles. We visit this farm on our
food, wine and farmgate tour in the North.
