Two of the farms we visit (Mt Gnomon and Blackridge) both rare amazing lamb product. I live in the main vegetable growing bowl of Tassie and am surrounded by rich red volcanic soil, so when the farms put sheep on the property to graze after a harvest, they soon turn the colour of a burnt rusty orange. Right now there are new lambs appearing every day or two who look very cute in their white coats next to their orange mothers!
