are developing quite a reputation in this little state of ours and there was a
fabulous write up in last weeks’ Tasmanian Country publication about some of
these more unusual products that are not only popular here, but growing into a
huge export market. I’m talking about
sea urchin roe, wasabi, saffron, truffles, pepper berry and black garlic. Australian Wild Harvest food, wine and farm
tours are lucky enough to be able to visit some of these producers and
personally it is fantastic to be able to buy this product that is literally growing
on our doorstep – I have much easier access to buy these products in small quantities
than when I lived in Australia’s largest city.
