Our North West Food and Wine tour and every cruise ship tour I have done visits The Berry Patch at Turners Beach. It is a wonderful family owned farm business with pick-your-own, cafe and the best ice cream ever and it is always full of locals, but come tourist season the strawberry blackboard sign on the highway indicates to tourists where to get off the ramp to share in the bounty.  Very sad to see the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources (DIER) remove all the signs of small businesses off the highway. As the local paper said – it is Dier-bolical! Pleased to see the locals getting behind and supporting businesses and hopefully changes can be made to reverse this action.
