Ben is a local boy – to North-West Tasmania that is. He lives amongst all the wonderful produce that we see on our Food and Wine Tours. Of course since becoming a finalist in the 2012 Masterchef series, his celebrity status has made him an ambassador for this region. Sadly my own audition a few weeks ago for Masterchef 2014 did not progress very far, but it was a fun experience and just reinforces the life I have here and my own food dreams. Congrats to Ben on his new book released this week – I’ve had a peek and it looks yum!
