It is well into harvest time for this unusual fruit (said to have a pineapple-guava taste) and especially enjoyed by New Zealanders.  Christine from Kindred Feijoas is selling fresh fruit and various preserves using feijoas at Devonport Farmers Market and Axeman’s Latrobe market.  The feijoa flower is incredibly sweet to eat and I can just imagine this popped into a liquid refreshment whilst sitting out and enjoying the winter sunshine.
